Easy Christmas Decor - Floating Candles!
I love Christmas... and I love Pinterest! The festive season always gettings my creative energy flowing and I love making display and vignettes in my home - it really does cheer me up!
We've got a few left of these little floating tea light candles and customers always ask what to use them for so I thought I'd do a little Pinterest research on an easy way to use them for a simple Christmas table centre piece (although they could really be displayed anywhere in your home)!
Lets start with Classic Christmas...
Berries, evergreens and holly all submerged in a vessel - be it a tumbler, a wine glass or a repurposed jar look great topped with a flickering candle and I love the addition of the gingham bow on the last one! You could simply have three of these lovely arrangements across the table accompanied by some battery operated fairy lights and more evergreen branches!
Now here are some non traditional colour schemes...
I love the look of these arrangements all grouped together! The perfect use for that old silver tray or even place them on a mirror! The geometric branch shapes look stunning and classic in the tall thin bud vases - these displays have maximum impact for very little effort!
And I throw a few more in for good measure... let your imagination run wild!
The beauty of this display is that you can make it exactly how you need it! Choose shorter jars for table centre pieces to allow for easy access across the table or you can vary the heights if it is going on a side table or shelf!
Pop into the shop as we have a huge range of glass jars and votives perfect for this project!
You can check out our wee Christmas pinboard here - no doubt we will be adding to it in the next couple of weeks!
